Join Optimus Prime and the Autobots in a battle for the future of Earth. Stern Pinball’s TRANSFORMERS: More Than Meets the Eye PRO brings the world of the original 1984 animated series to the playfield, combining iconic characters, story-driven missions, and an experience filled with action, strategy, and nostalgia.
Your mission is to stop Megatron and the Decepticons from stealing Earth’s energy, conquering Cybertron, and dominating the universe. Along the way, collect Energon Cubes to power up your missions, team up with the Dinobots, and gather Transformers Tech Spec cards as you prepare for the ultimate showdown against Megatron.
Iconic Characters Take Centre Stage
The PRO model features a custom-sculpted Optimus Prime bash toy, accompanied by speech recorded by Peter Cullen. Opposite him, a static Megatron figure introduces missions with the unmistakable voice of Frank Welker. A bank of three drop targets protects the Decepticon leader, turning every attack into a test of accuracy.
Grimlock also joins the action: completing his targets starts Dinobot side missions. Meanwhile, the Bumblebee captive ball creates opportunities to boost your score.
Ramps, Multiball, and Energon-Fuelled Action
Two ramps featuring the Autobot and Decepticon emblems return the ball to the left and right flippers. Three flippers, including an upper flipper, expand your shot options and bring variety to every game.
The optical Energon spinner lets you build and collect Energon Cubes to enhance your missions. Battles with Optimus Prime and Transformers Multiball round out an experience that rewards accurate shooting, well-timed combinations, and making the most of every opportunity.
The Sights and Sounds of Transformers
Video clips from the original animated series accompany the missions, bringing its stories into the game. The soundtrack features the first season’s Transformers theme, original music by Knights of Unicron, and voices recorded by Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE, the game also includes a special mode featuring “The Touch,” the iconic song by Stan Bush.

TRANSFORMERS PRO is powered by Stern’s SPIKE 3 platform and features an 18.5-inch Full HD display for videos, animations, and game progress. Full-spectrum RGB LED arrow inserts illuminate the playfield.
Built-in Insider Connected lets players track scores, earn achievements, and collect Cyber Coins to unlock challenge modes. Prime Training also offers an Autobot-guided introduction to developing your pinball skills.
